Once, I was in a store telling someone that I had just watched the new JLA cartoon and was giving my critique, when a man interrupted by asking me, “Are you talking about the new Justice League cartoon on Cartoon Network?” I nodded, and he looked at me with this dumbfounded look and said, “But…you’re a girl!”

I am a girl who reads and used to letter comics (mostly just friend's stuff), watches science-fiction from Star Wars to Star Trek to Firefly to Battlestar Galactica, former video game tester, owns an X-Box and an original Nintendo, attends comic book conventions, owns every season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, a Browncoat through and through, loves hockey, understands and makes DOS jokes, reads every word that Chuck Palahniuk writes, worships Joss Whedon, James Gunn, Simon Pegg, Trey Parker, Kevin Smith, had read and loves Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z, and these are just a few of my favorite things.

I also did a few articles for a column called "But You're A Girl" at Fanboyradio.com. I'm also known in some circles (aka moviepoopshoot/quickstopentertainment.com, lostcasts.com and jgas.com) as Fangirl.
