Much the Miller's Son (book 2)
Much is a peasant who winds up as one of Robin Hood's merrie men. Being a wanted man is scary, but on the other hand, he's in love with Maid Marion, and if staying in the forest means being close to the object of his desire--it's still pretty scary!

You Can Never Go Home Again
Here's a short Much the Miller's Son story I did for an anthology over the summer. I hope you like it.

Hi Steve. Thanks for adding me. I was just reading your comment below. I like me that Sergio Aragonés too...he's my favorite cartoonist and has been a big influence on my cartoon work. Anyway, your comic looks great. Funny stuff! 1 Reply [ Latest posted on May 23rd, 2008 11:07 AM ]

Thanks man. It's hard to underestimate the influence those Mad artists have had on probably our whole generation of cartoonists. Wally Wood and Jack Davis are big inspirations to me as well. Paul Coker Jr. too. |

^Your art is completely unique too though, of course.
Looks like you're zooming along on your own, but if you ever feel like teaming up with a writer, I'd love to work with you someday. |

Love your style, Steve -- it's got some of the energy of Groo the Wanderer! |
