FEMME NOIR #3 in PREVIEWS NOW!

Just wanted to remind everyone that the first issue of my creator-owned miniseries, FEMME NOIR: THE DARK CITY DIARIES, drawn by the legendary Joe Staton, will be in (some) stores in the next few weeks.

Unfortunately, orders were a bit disappointing, so if you didn't pre-order a copy, you may not be able to find one on the shelves.

The third issue – which Joe & I consider the very best of this first four-issue miniseries – is in PREVIEWS now, and can still be pre-ordered. Even if you didn't order the first two issues, you still might want to get this one, and since each story is a self-contained, stand-alone tale, it can be read without needing to have read them all.

You'll find it on page 206, under "Ape Entertainment," and the Diamond Order Codes are JUN083647 for Cover "A" by Joe Staton and Alfredo Lopez and JUN083648 for Cover "B" by Phil Hester (Green Arrow, Nightwing, The Irredeemable Ant-Man).

And if you want to get in an order for the first two issues, and you've got a helpful, persistent retailer, I'm pretty sure he can still put in a (re-)order for those issues. If so, the Diamond Item Codes for Issue #1 are: APR083544 for Cover "A" by Joe Staton and Alfredo Lopez, and APR083545 for Cover "B" by Brian Bolland.

And the codes for #2 are: MAY083591 for Cover "A" by Staton & Lopez and MAY083592 for Cover "B" by Matt Haley (Birds of Prey).

Ape Entertainment is very much behind the book, despite the underwhelming advance orders, and have already signed me and Joe for a FEMME NOIR double-sized "Annual," FEMME NOIR; SUPERNATURAL CRIME, which should be out around the holidays.
