Hello from First Age!

First Age is a comic shop run by Mark & Lucy and is based in the Assembly Rooms Market in the city centre of Lancaster, UK.

We welcome fans of all genres and aim to stock what YOU like best. Of course if it isn't in we do our best to order whatever you're missing.

At First Age we sell the comics that are out now, not forgetting back-issues, some cool comic-related collectibles like figurines and Heroclix, as well as comic storage supplies for your collection.

That's not all - we also have a healthy interest in TV and movies, so there is plenty of other stuff available - toys, T-shirts, cards, magazines, games and books.

All customers have access to the latest copy of the monthly Previews catalogue. If you aren't familiar with Previews, this is an extensive showcase of what comics and collectibles are due out, in advance of release. Customers can order their own copy of Previews at cost price.

Don't want to miss your favourite comic? We are happy to reserve your regular comics, however few or many you want to get. This also works for that one-off item you can't do without!

All of our new comics are bagged for free.

If you're in the Lancaster area and want to pop in, our opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4.30pm (10am-5.30pm on Saturday). We are based in the Assembly Rooms which is an 18th century building on King Street, yards from the train station and Lancaster Castle. You will find the Assembly Rooms between Crow's restaurant and the Penny Almshouses.
