My love of comic books began as a young lad way back in the mid-'70s. I cannot remember a time when I haven't read comics. I don't even remember what my first comic was, though it was most likely Superman or Amazing Spider-Man. While I have always read Marvel, I tend to lean more towards the DCU. At last count, I had a paltry 12,000 books in my collection. In addition to comics, I am also a pulp hero fan, especially The Shadow, Doc Savage and The Spider, as well as a huge Edgar Rice Burroughs fan.
