You know, I was just reading over your page & I can't believe you actually admitted to liking Sleepwalker. I thought I was the only one still willing to say I liked it. The fact that your favorites of all time haven't changed since I lived in Mt. Holly kind of shows the direction that comics had taken for a long time. The whole chrome covers, big guns, big breasts, unbelievably huge muscles stage that they went through. Thankfully that crap is over & comics are going back to being about the stories. Anywho, I back you up on Sleepwalker being a good series. Hell, I still love Darkhawk too, pre-revamp with the new costume. Also, have you ever read Matt Wagner's Mage. If not, I highly recommend you check it out. It's great & I think it would be right up your alley.

Hi there! We’re starting up this year’s Small Press Idol…and wanted to invite you to the grand unveiling of this year’s Guidelines. I apologize for the all-in-one nature of this. At this time, individuals and teams have a little over a month to get things together and be ready to post their Round 1 entries. Round 1 will last till March 25th. It’s a solid window to get a project together and qualified for Round 2 past our judge panel. If you are interested in being a contestant, this is fair warning to get a project going!
If you are a news outlet or resource of any sort, we invite you to help spread the word about Small Press Idol, and get on the official Sponsors and Supporters list on the Idol Main Page. Traditionally, the page has gotten hundreds of thousands of hits a month for the 5 months the contest runs. All we ask in return for the link placement on our prominently placed list, is a link back in some way that is fairly prominent, and that you indeed cover the contest if you are a news site. You can contact us about that right from the guidelines page.
Just want to watch the show? That’s great! Now is time to sign up at the site so you can VOTE in the rounds to come, and post comments about your favorites! We’re expecting hundreds of contestants this year. It should be a lot of fun!

I'm glad to see that you list both Jean Grey and Emma Frost on your favorites list. I've been to a few comic communities that absolutely LOATHE Emma after she "stole" Scott from Jean. I thought the affair was the most interesting thing to happen to Scott and Jean's relationship since the Dark Phoenix storyline, so I couldn't be happier to see Emma thrown into the mix. I'm very interested in how Emma and Scott have been portrayed in Astonishing X-Men and hope Joss Whedon sticks to the title for at least another "season."
