Hi!
I've been meaning to make a comment here forever, and get reminded every time a new issue of BoP is in my hands...
Your art is simply amazing. You've got all the qualities I love in an artist. Storytelling, great design, your figures feel realisitic, and like they're wearing real clothes, or enough to still feel like comics, and amazing expressions. You've made an already enjoyable comic all the better.
I'd say you're definitely up there with my other favourite artists, and in a very short time of seeing your work. |

The website lives! A long time coming, and well worth the wait. Even if the editor in me wants to grab the red pen and fix the occasional typo. ;) Good, quick loading, simple site. I give it a thumbs up.
Great seeing those pics, either again, or for the first time! Definitely looking forward to the upcoming shoots, and updates, as well as the comic.
I post comments here waaay too often. I need a hobby. |

Just read the Palm Beach interview you link to at MySpace. Very cool to be interviewed, and very interesting insight into your life. I quite enjoyed it. I'm also trying my best to not be a creepy internet person, and I think I'm doing well so far. ;) Fortunately, my typing and language skills are top notch, so there I'm good.
Keep up the amazing work! |

Ahh! Small world!
I just went by your MySpace page and while looking at photos, realised we met at DragonCon!
By "met" I of course mean, "Passed by each other and I took a photo of you as Batgirl". Cool! =) |

Very nice 'new' image on the main page of your site! Can't wait, and happy new year. =) |

Thanks for the add! You've made a Phoenix/Batgirl/redhead fan most happy. ;)
I saw pics of you online a few years ago, was enthralled, and am now kicking myself for never finding you at DragonCon in '06. Especially since shortly afterwards your presence just exploded online, what with being declared Geek Girl, getting Dugg, etc etc, and now instead of 'knowing you when' I'd just be another voice in the weird internet buzz. =) Found your MySpace, but since the site makes my webdesign sense whimper, I don't have an account. Making one just to say introduce myself to you? THAT would be truly creepy...
But hooray for ComicSpace! Where I can make the longest, most convoluted way of saying "Hi!" ;) |

Thanks, Brandon!
Been a fan of your work for ages, and met you at a Wizard ChicagoCon a few years ago, when Chimera was coming out from CrossGen, and you were a great guy in person. =)
Keep up the good work! 1 Reply [ Latest posted on December 18th, 2006 10:04 PM ]

Me a great guy? I must have been too hung over to be a jerk. :) |

I miss Young Avengers... Come back to us, Allan!
Scans Daily manages to be both awesome and annoying. I need to find something to share with them, it's been awhile since I've posted something new. 1 Reply [ Latest posted on December 17th, 2006 6:19 PM ]

Am I evil for wishing Grey's Anatomy would get canceled so Allan Heinberg would write YA again? The wait is going to absolutely kill me, but even so I'd be nervous if Marvel ever announced a new writer for the series. I absolutely love Hulkling and Wiccan together and I'd probably go postal on Marvel's ass if they ever retconned them into "just good friends."
I love Scans Daily and all the kooks there, though there are a few spammy posters that I wish would post a little less, you know? I don't have a scanner or I'd post stuff there more often.
Scans Daily is great because it has introduced me to tons of comics I'd never even heard of and probably wouldn't have picked up on my own, which includes Runaways, Manhunter, and Y The Last Man.
And you're welcome about the add - I'm always looking for cool folks who like talking about comics! Drop by or PM any time. :) |

But I like being strange. =)
And I'm kindasorta from Comicbloc. I'm registered there, and made a post or two, but I mostly just lurk, when I swing by. |

Love your work, and can't wait for more G.I. Spy!
And I still fondly recall the Witchfire one-shot you drew several years ago. |

When people tell me comics are for children, I like to hit them upside the head with my TPB of Watchmen. |

Your colouring work is simply above and beyond, and has set a whole new standard for the industry, and I'm always pleased when a comic that you've had a hand in comes into my hands. |

I remember first seeing your work on New Warriors, and have followed your career here and there, almost coincidentally. I love your clean style, and can't wait to see you move on to Nightwing. |

I've been a fan of your work for far, far too long. =)
Loved you on FN Spidey, and hate to see you go, but as always, look forward to what you work on next. |

Thanks!
Al's art can be a little bit on the 'cheesecake' side of things, but that's quite all right. Nothing wrong with having comics that are pretty to look at. =)
I may be a guy, but if anyone could find a way to make me look like a hot babe, I'm sure it would be Al. He's good at sneaking them in. ;)

Long time, no talk. =)
Not since around the fall of CrossGen, when the boards went dead. |

Loving Agents of Atlas, one of my favourite minis right now. I tried keeping up with the Mister Lao stuff online, but damn, folks are quick and got through those puzzles faster than I could even find them! |

As I said to Chris Moreno, I met you guys in Chicago at the Comics for the 21st Century panel (I'll bother to rememebr the name some day), and have been enjoying the Dracula vs. comics from you. Can't wait for more! |

Geeze, I never thought I'd start saying that...
Loving the Dracula vs. books, and I met you guys at the Wizard World Chicago convention, and sat in on the Future of Comics panel, or whatever it was called. Can't wait to see more! |
