The running gag is that Eric Nakamura opened a comic book store in Manila shortly before 2007 began. Seriously, though, the dude behind the counter over at Fourth Wall Comics is a dead ringer for the famed Giant Robot editor, and is just as much of a toy geek.
![]() Okay, so this dude - let's also call him "Eric" - is no stranger to comic book retailing. He's worked for THE MAN for a really long time, and may have handled your pull list at one point. Now that he's set up his own shop, he's TOTALLY BOSS. ![]() FWC mainly carries a variety of titles from the major publishers as well as toys (no, they're called "action figures"!). Indies, on the other hand, can be ordered. As for consignment, why not ask "Eric"? Exchange rate: $1 = P50 Free menthol candy for everyone who drops by! FOURTH WALL COMICS 5082 Filmore Street Palanan, Makati City Opening hours: Noon-ish til 8pm (closed on Mondays) Telefax: 551-88-90 Email: fourthwallcomics AT yahoo DOT com How to get there: From Buendia: Cut across the SLEX intersection, then immediately turn right onto Filmore. (more details below, as to avoid being redundant) From SLEX: Turn left to Buendia, then take the first right turn onto Filmore. Go straight past Cash & Carry. Stay on the road. Look out for FWC on your right, at the corner of Filmore and Einthoven. (A helpful landmark: a hot pink sign that reads "Feel More Laundry". I shit you not.) Oh, and if you see the Tarsier Express mural, you've gone way too far. From DLSU: Turn left to Vito Cruz from Taft Avenue. Then take the first (and only) right turn to Zobel Roxas. The road curves, so stay on the road until you approach the Zobel Roxas/SLEX intersection. Do not cross the intersection. Turn right on the street that comes before SLEX (and is also parallel to it) - and you're on Filmore. (Notable landmark before turning onto Filmore from Zobel Roxas: the Rapide auto shop.) When on Filmore, go past that Tarsier Express mural. Look for Fourth Wall on your left side. It's at the corner of Filmore and Einthoven. From the Crypt of Rahk-i-d'um: Walk 10 kliks south of the Wilds of Wazzool, then seven paces due Seaward. Use the Rod of Rann-Jer-ami to cast... Oh, come on, you didn't seriously expect me to go on with this quasi-Ditko mumbo jumbo, did you? Please check back every week to keep track of our new stock. fourthwallcomics's BulletinsDisplaying 1-10 of 20 bulletins...
