I am a fan first and foremost. I have been collecting comics since the mid 80's, mostly just the regular series that I read more so than back issues. My favorites are Gold Digger by Fred Perry, Thieves & Kings by Mark Oakley, GI Joe, Girl Genius, and a few others. Actually, I am about 7 years behind on my reading. Maybe not THAT long, but I have been letting them stack up for awhile.

My wife and I attend the Denver based Nan Desu Kan anime convention every year. We were able to attend the 2007 San Diego Comic Con also. (The last time I was there was 1995.) I have a few wonderful pieces of commission and one-of-a-kind artwork from creators framed and hanging on my wall. Fred Perry, John Peters, Ben Dunn, John Kantz, Rod Espinosa, Drew Hayes, Rob Schrab, Zander Cannon, Phil Foglio, Jason Martin, and a few others.

I am also working very slowly on writing a novel based on characters I've developed, some pictured in my gallery here. It will be a sword & sorcery, sci-fi, western romp with some anthropomorphic-type and human characters.
