A little bit about me, well let’s see.....
I grew up Kansas City, but now reside in Lees Summit, Missouri with my wife and our cats. I left Hallmark Cards Inc. after 7 year employment to work full time for DC Comics' after I signed an exclusive with them - I am the artist for "Final Crisis Aftermath: Run!" & “JSA Allstars”. I started drawing comics seriously from the young age of 15, after I seen a copy of “The Uncanny X-man" #272 featuring Jim Lee's artwork. From that point on I had my heart set on drawing comics for a living. Now that I have been given that opportunity, I am living my life long dream and plan on keeping that alive as long as possible. In 2005 while attending the San Diego Comic Con, I submitted a portfolio for the DC Talent Search. A few months later I received a call work on "Seven Soldiers: Mister Miracle"- #2, 3 and 4. I was also the monthly artist for "The Flash", "Robin". My run on Robin is from #149 to issue #168, I also did the covers for Robin #170 - #176. There is a small break on issues #157 & #158, for a cross over with Clarion the Witchboy, drawn by Frasier Irving. I then moved to The Flash, where I had a 10 issue run starting with #233. I then went back on Robin and my second run is from issue #177 to the last issue of #183, where I penciled, inked and colored that cover. I have also done fill in issues and other work for DC. These books include: "52" -#31(Robin origin), "Aquaman"-#39, "Blue Beetle" -#15, "Countdown"-#3& 22, "Firestorm"-#31, "JSA Classified"- #34 & 38, "Outsiders"-#45 & 46, and "Outsiders:Five of a Kind"-Week #1. Before my work @ DC I also did some work for Image, Palladium as well as Independent Comic companies. These books included, "Invincible #32, Noble Causes 12 - 18 & 25, Chance of a Lifetime, Wargod, Project Eon, Lonebow, Shocking Gun Tales. A full list of my work can be found here, Bibliography Checklist Over the years I worked in various art jobs honing my PC skill and learning to work via Photoshop and Illustrator. I’ve had worked traditionally for years with blue line pro art board, non-repro blue pencils and inking pens and figured maybe I could combine my love of comics with new technology. I now work completely digital, only commission pieces and maybe a few pages from each monthly issue are done traditionally. It’s been in the works for a while but is now available on Amazon or in most major bookstores.
