Header: Comic Artists Guild Tx MEETING TOMORROW!!
Bulletin: Calling all Texas Artists!!

Did you guys know that a chapter of the Comic Artist’s Guild has recently opened up in Texas? Anyone with an interest in making comics is urged to join in. Are you into Anime? Horror? Indie? Super-heroes? Whether you're a professional or an aspiring comic creator you'll find lots of benefits to being a CAG member.

The Tx Chapter was opened up by Mike Finger. Mike is a CAG member from Mass. who moved to Texas recently and set up shop. He’s an accomplished writer who is currently the author of Super-Psyche (”The best comic book you’ll never hear of.”). You can check out Mike’s MySpace here: MySpace.com/MichaelFinger. He’s a great guy and definitely the right choice for starting this group off!

you can find more info about CAG on their Website ComicArtGuild.com.

And don’t forget to add CAG Texas ( myspace.com/cagtx )

Remember, a big part of being an artist is networking and helping one another out. None of us are going to succeed in a closed bubble and personally I think that CAG sounds like a really great tool to get out and meet others who are established and up-and-coming in the comics scene.

So it's time to make your dreams of comic-stardom come true... The meeting is being held Saturday, July 28th at Ruta Maya Coffee house (downtown) and kicks off at 2pm...

Hope to see everyone out there!!

-Freddy
