Hi Gary,
Welcome to ComicSpace. Glad to see you here. I never got the chance to meet you in person, but Caliber published by book DreamWalker. Hope you have a wonderful and successful New Year!

Hi Jenni,
I remember DreamWalker well as part of the Tapestry line. I don't know if you remember but the Tapestry line was the last cover of Capital City's Advance Comics and of course, once they went under, everything started collapsing in the comics market. But your book did well for awhile...should've done better as it was a great book for a different audience but the market was so bad at that time. Not that its great now but that was such a major drop (and unbelievably got even worse) that it was hard to deal with. Continued good luck as I see you're still active. I'll tell Jim Pruett you got in touch as he's coming up to Michigan for a visit in a couple of weeks.

Gary

I remember Ed's stuff. I know he did Scythe and I think some Kilroy stuff...not sure what else he worked on. I think he dealt with the Pruetts mainly. Good to see him still working.

Hey Gary, I see you are with the Actionopolis team. A friend of Shannon's is a friend of mine. Will you be at the Phoenix Con? Best of luck, and hopefully we'll cross paths soon!

no plans on being at the Phoenix Con...I don't do a lot of shows and that one is a bit far away...continued success with your books, it looks as if you're doing well.

I actually plan to but probably as something that will be Print on Demand. I will probably fix some of the script. I think Andy did a great job on the art.

Yeah, I just re-read it a few weeks ago, and it stands out as one of my all-time favorite graphic novels.

Hey Gary! Thanks for the add sir. It's been a while since Tim Dzon & I were in your convention in Michigan, but I still remember it as being one of the most fun cons I ever went to. Good to "see" you again, and hope all is well!

Wow, that was a loooong time ago. Those cons are just a blur in the memory. But glad you enjoyed yourself. I think I did too.

Note: The Deadworld graphic novel has shipped to stores. It collects the first six issues of the series from Desperado/Image and reintroduces the world of the Dead. Great time to jump on board.

Gary, it was great to meet you as well in Chicago and hang out a bit. Hopefully we can do it again soon. Until then keep up the great work. Happy Holidays!

Heya Gary! Thanks for the add. :)

I'm always raving about Deadworld and am currently (and finally) reading Renfield (which is excellent, btw).

Yeah, I guess your stuff is pretty good. :P

Keep up the great work, man!

Cheers,
Steve

Hey Steve,
Someone just sent me the review you did on Dead-Killer. Thanks! I posted it on my Amazon blog. I'm glad you liked it and was glad to see you "got" the story even with the faults you noted. It was a good review...not in the sense of it being favorable to me, but it was illuminating and thoughtful instead of just giving your opinion.

thanks,
Gary

Thanks for the add, Gary. I keep coming across old Caliber comics in my boxes. I got into them for the strength of their writing, and its good to see that that caliber (pun intended) of writing is still in demand.

Thanks much for the nice comment. Yeah, there's a lot of "Caliber" writers still haunting the comics world nowadays.

Hi Gary!

Great to "see" you again too. Things are going quite well in my life, and I see by your profile that you've been keeping busy. Hard to believe that our collaborations together were almost 14 years ago, eh?

Mike,
Been fine, thanks. Not sure about any cons at this time. They take up a lot of time and that's something that I just don't have enough of, it seems.
