Greetings, everyone.

I'm not in the comic industry (unless you can call an active collector of comics and original art "being in the industry"). Of course I've fantasized about writing comics, but I've not published anything (other than academic articles on medieval studies and war propaganda). By trade I'm a rare books specialist, but my interests range far and wide.

I've been "nurturing" a number of different comics, sci-fi, and fantasy writing projects for quite some time now, but I'm now starting to get things in shape (slowly but surely). I'm learning a bit each day and would love to hear about others' experiences--pro or amateur--developing, creating, pitching, and publishing comic book and graphic novel projects.

I'm looking forward to meeting more people in the comics world--collectors, artists, authors, publishers, dealers, etc.--and learning more about all of you and about this wonderful, creative world that we all love so much.
