In & out of the industry for better than 3 decades, I've done just about all the jobs the industry holds at one point or another. Current concentration is on creating/producing for Hamtramck Idea Men while juggling freelance assignments for other publishers.

Current projects include: Pulp Dreams, a sci-fi/fantasy fusion title featuring TERRA 2920 and PORTAL PRIME; IF-X, an anthology of short works with a different theme each ish; and MIS-TRANSIT, co-written with Michael Marcus, a strange story of mystic travelers. Right now, we're about to go to press with Pulp Dreams #1, and we're so excited about it that we're running a pre-order special!

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since the above entry was made, a lot has happened. We've temporarily shelved MIS-TRANSIT (not to worry, it's only a temporary situation), but IF-X and PULP DREAMS are going strong, with decent con and signing sales, a fair sales figure online, and over 20 retail outlets, including both coasts. But we need a larger reader base, more parts of the country open. That's where you all come in. Go to your local retailer; ask if they carry HIM books, and, if not, why not. First and foremost we want to look out for our retail network, so ask them first; but if you're frustrated there, stop by the HIM site and order them direct. Just do yourself a favor and don't miss out. Check 'em out. You'll see what I mean.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was made interviews editor for SELF PUBLISHER magazine a while back and did reviews & articles for them, predominantly from a Small Press/Indy focus, though I had been known to branch into Mainstream. Those positions have since passed into other hands, but, if you have a book you want reviewed, my business partner Michael Marcus still does an occasional review, so drop me a line & I'll give you particulars.
My 'e'mail is: renderer4you@yahoo.com or at george@idea-men.us

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The new website, http://www.idea-men.us, is in full swing, with galleries, forums, order pages and a bunch of stuff, updating the projects Michael and I are doing as they happen. The old website at http://renderer1.tripod.com still exists and has a more complete rundown (if not updated) on me. The current plan is to update everything onto the Idea Men site and bring everything there.

I'm always up to something new, but it'll give you an idea of me. The Tripod site is actually parent site of a half-dozen sites, all linkable via text or images from main site or each other, but the content can, for the most part, be found at the idea-men site. Check 'em both out and compare!
After you visit, drop me a line at: renderer4you@yahoo.com
Thanks, &

Hey;

Thanks for joining in on the fun.
If I remember from DimeStore, your first name's Scott, right? Seems I saw that on the boards or at a chat or something, but I hate addressing someone by the wrong name. Thus the ambiguous header.
Drop me a line at my regular 'e' addy: renderer4you@yahoo.com, aside from communications through comicspace. It's a more personal connect.
Wierd to say about something electronic, but even the 'e' world has a
persona developing from its disparate elements. Just feels more one on one, y'know?

Doc;

Thanks. Not sure if you're talkin' about the interviews editor spot for SELF PUBLISHER! magazine, the interviews collumn in SP!, or the live interview audio broadcasts at the DimeStore site, but thanks anyway. For all I know, it could be something I don't even know about yet.
Hey, I'm goin' all out to help Ian with this latest incarnation of the SPA. Got articles & reviews goin' in the first couple SP! editions, too. Ian has a valid Vision of what small press CAN be, & the experience to make it work. Just needs committed people to work the trenches with him. I share the vision so I'm steppin' up. Y'know?
Get enough of us together, we have a network. A network that opens many new market and friend connections. Sounds right to me.
Vision seems to be 20/20.

Hey George! Thanks for the add, and it's good to see you again. We just need to hook in Tim and Jeff, then the Fearsome foursome will be online!

Jim;

So it is you. Really great hooking up with you again. Last I heard, you were supposedly in the southwest. Figured there was one old bud that contact had been cut to. This 'e' info age is sweet. Are you back Great Lakes way?
Said there'd be update info. Jeff's in the area, working as a restaurant assistant manager, & Tim's in the Ann Arbor area last I heard. I'll ask his mom for a specific addy. I have an old phone number for Jeff, but his wife doesn't care for him working on comics, so I haven't talked with him for a bit. Might not still be good. You're right, though. Time for the Fearsome Foursome to make their mark in the world of today. I have the imprints started & a backing commitment, starting in February, to upgrade to full size, glossy cover. Researching sales outlets now. Already have a few in place. With the varied industry experience of our original creative quartet to draw on, sounds like the nexus of an empire. Make sure you
stay in touch this time, okay.
My 'e' mail is: Renderer4you@yahoo.com
& I'm on the web: http://renderer1.tripod.com
Drop me an 'e' line & drop by the site. When you write my 'e', make sure to add your 'e' addy, so I have it & can pass it to the others, okay? Got a bunch of other mail that accumulated over the last couple days, & some assignments to send in, so signin' off for now.
