Jeff;

Great to see you're finally taking a more active part in the insanity here. This is a great meeting & greeting site. Lotsa folks with similar interests to discuss our passions with. Glad to see you getting involved more.
How are you situated as far as in-house copies of Full Circle Comix for the prize on the new 3Cs contest? Drop me a personal line so we can discuss it further, okay? I'm not really sure if Tim's contacted any of the publishers in the group for the prize package, so...

Loontern;

Cool stuff. Looks like you could easily fit into the pulp illustration market. Have any inked stuff?

No, i never tried inking any of my work. I just recently decided to get back into drawing. I'm hoping I havent gotten to out of practice. This time I plan on inking and coloring.

Yul;

See you made it over here, bud. Probably do more communication here than
through the cartoonist group, since both of us miss half of the meetings
(lol). Anyway, you're on my list. Welcome. Congrats on the Walk Across America gig. Matt told me about it, but it's good to have it confirmed.
Like the Walk Across America, pro recognition is one step at a time. Here's to first steps. Huzzah!

Oh yeah. I forgot to tell you that I quit cartoonist night since a certain person there refuses to respect me. And I'm NOT talking about Mary Jo or Suzanne. Aside from that, I got a bunch of web comic and web animation projects going. More on those and other things later.

SWAT;

Thanks for the invite. Dropped by your deviantart page. Sweet stuff there. You're definitely a talented penciller. As has been stated elsewhere, You're sure to go far in this crazy industry. Best on all of your endeavors. You are, of course, on my list as well. I have a bunch of things due at various publishers, so I'll have to cut this short, but stay in touch. Like you, I see this site as a nexus for creative ideas, & want to stay connected to others whose goal is to make the industry my full time occupation. There's no counting the creative ideas I have waiting their turn, so maybe someday a collab.
Again, thanks for the invite, & welcome to my circle as well.

Neil;

Thanks for joining my friends circle. Keeps growin' day by day. One of your tags says "seeking artists". Any particulars on that? Is there an existing or planned publication artists are needed for? Is it film associated? I'm already doing DVD jacket illos for NoFun Films, but I'm always interested in expanding my base. Any pay involved? That always helps.lol Anyway, welcome to the bullpen. Check out who all is currently here. May be some others you'd like to make friends.

Joe;

Like everyone else on your list, I have been a fan of your work for decades. Seems I can't remember a time when credits somewhere didn't say "Inks by JOE RUBINSTEIN". I can't count the amount of time I've lost, not working on my own inking, as I studied your black spotting, line work or line weight variations. You are a master of a very difficult art, & those who have never tried doing it have no idea of all that's involved. My hat is doffed to you, sir. Kudos for being such a sterling example for those who would follow in your footsteps, though they knew they would never catch up. An honor & a privelege to count you among my acquaintances, & perhaps someday, friends. Thanks.

Jim;

Honored to be among your circle. I'll head over to the MoCCA site & download the membership form. Thanks for the heads-up. A number of my friends attend the MoCCA show regularly, but I haven't made it yet, much to my dismay. Maybe I'll luck out & make it this year. Here's hoping.

Thanks for your support, Mr. McVey! Keep in mind that MoCCA is not just the annual Art Fest, but a year round Comic and Cartoon Art Museum open to the public four days a week.
