Hey everyone! Just got turned onto this site and i gotta say that this is far more appealing than myspace, that said let the comic fun begin!

To give you a little background on me, i'm 26 and live in the Olympia, WA area. While originally from California i am liking it here, though it does rain alot. I was in the navy for 5 years and I am pretty happy to be free of that obligation.
I first got into comics at the so called "dark age", being the early 90's, but i was 13 in 93 and when i saw that 10 pack of books in the store, i had to have it, i still remember the first book, it was an issue of Thor and he was fight the absorbing man. Great fun. I got out of comics after a bit and came back about two years ago, while desperate for things to do while underway in the arabian gulf. Boy did i ever get back into it, i but something like 40 titles a month and i am loving every second of it, though my wallet may not appreciate it. I tend to follow writers a bit more than artists, but crummy art can still kill a book for me.
I am a big podcasting fan and listen to Raging Bullets and Comic Geek speak as soon as they come out (can i get my 5 bucks now guys?)
I am also your general geek, in that i love comics, video games, techy stuff, and reading lots and lots of sci fi and fantasy. Looking forward to hearing from people and chatting about comics, thats why we are here right? Well cya out there guys.
