I remember reading comic when I was a kid - before the age of 10 to be sure. We had Archie comics around the house and a few House of Mystery (which I really liked!), and a few Superman-related books. Sorry, I can't offer them to you now, as I have no idea whatever happened to those books.
Fast forward to a few years ago. When M. Night Shyamalan's Unbreakable came out. That got me interested in checking out comics again.
Having always had a passive interest in Batman, I eventually decided to look him up on the web. That eventually lead me to DC Comics' page, where I discovered a new storyline was about to begin on the Batman book. That lead me to my Local Comic Store to buy Batman #608.
Four years later I find myself getting my books through DCBS for the discount, I get Previews every month, and I have a couple of favorite writers - Brian K. Vaughan and Bill Willingham.

I am in the midst of writing my own comic script and when that's done I'll be looking for an artist.
