My name's Gianluca Piredda, I am an Italian writer. I'm known best as a comics writer, but I also work for magazines as a journalist and for television as journalist and writer. Also, I used to be a radio and TV speaker. I started to work in the publishing field in 1991, in Italy. Then, in 2000, I started to publish in the international market (first in the USA, afterwards in other several countries such as Spain, Germany, France, Turkey, the UK and many more). My first american comic book was called "Winds of Winter", which was published in Italy by King Comics (2000) and in USA by the Antarctic Press (2001). For the same publishing house I wrote the stories of their cult character Areala. My latest series is called "Free Fall" and is currently available in comics shops. Right now I am working on Nagative Burn (Image Comics), on a movie, for the magazine "Il Sassarese" and on a few new projects which will be ready in late 2006.
