Thanks for the add! Your webcomic looks dead twisted. In a good way.

Hi there! We’re starting up this year’s Small Press Idol…and wanted to invite you to the grand unveiling of this year’s Guidelines. I apologize for the all-in-one nature of this. At this time, individuals and teams have a little over a month to get things together and be ready to post their Round 1 entries. Round 1 will last till March 25th. It’s a solid window to get a project together and qualified for Round 2 past our judge panel. If you are interested in being a contestant, this is fair warning to get a project going!
If you are a news outlet or resource of any sort, we invite you to help spread the word about Small Press Idol, and get on the official Sponsors and Supporters list on the Idol Main Page. Traditionally, the page has gotten hundreds of thousands of hits a month for the 5 months the contest runs. All we ask in return for the link placement on our prominently placed list, is a link back in some way that is fairly prominent, and that you indeed cover the contest if you are a news site. You can contact us about that right from the guidelines page.
Just want to watch the show? That’s great! Now is time to sign up at the site so you can VOTE in the rounds to come, and post comments about your favorites! We’re expecting hundreds of contestants this year. It should be a lot of fun!

Hope this message reaches you in the spirit it was intended, you are welcome to ask questions, and otherwise make sure this is for real. This is the fourth year for the SPI. Last year’s contest pages are still online. So that’s what this is about, hope it interests you!

Thanks for checking out my stuff. The robot one is a personal favorite, I'm glad you like it.

Your stuff very cool, you have a great imagination keep it up.

Nice stuff on your planet! Five tons of work to get that working. Glad to see it. We Geeks have nothing without that Puritan work ethic kicking our butts.

Cheers, Bud,

Thanks man, I have issue 6 in the can, but right now I'm too busy trying to get the whole book ready for print, once I get everything sent to the printers I'll put #6 online as well.

Work ethic is definitely imperative, but it's damn if it isn't a challenge to keep from being distracted all the time.

Speaking of Cerebus.Sim has actually decided to let whomever he deems worthy print new Cerebus stories.I haven't heard of anyone that has the balls yet,but here's hoping it's someone good.I can't even imagine what someone else's Cerebus is going to look like.

Any comic that has guns, robots and talking animals is cooler than s#it! And a naked chick in a bubble!

Thanks for the add. Officially I can not comment on grayscale comics ;-) Unofficially I think what you are doing is cool. Much success.

Hey! Thanks for being my friend. I'm glad to meet you! Nifty comic you have there. And it has music! Very cool. I'm in the process of ATTEMPTING to force my lazy butt to record my songs for my own comics. *sigh* But, I am lazy, and recording guitars is a pain in the butt. ;P
