"Dear Fans and Friends;

I would like to begin this newsletter by thanking those of you who purchased YI SOON SHIN #1: THE TRIAL EDITION. On behalf of myself and the entire creative team behind the series, we sincerely appreciate your support.

I have some exciting announcements to make:

The title of our series has been changed to YI SOON SHIN: WARRIOR AND DEFENDER. This premiere edition of Issue #1 will be available in Haven Distributors catalogue COMICS! in October 2009. Be sure to let all your local retailers know!

YI SOON SHIN: WARRIOR AND DEFENDER #1 has been re-edited by our new series editor, David Anthony Kraft, who worked with Stan Lee at Marvel editing early new X-Men, Wolverine as well as Rogue's very first appearances, and more top titles than you know. Although the story is the same, DAK (as we like to call him) felt like there were some changes that needed to be made to better enhance your reading experience.

Now for those of you who spent your hard earned cash on the Trial Edition (now a collector's item!), contact me directly at OLKompan@aol.com and I will send you the new YI SOON SHIN: WARRIOR AND DEFENDER #1 for a dollar off the cover price. All you need to do is provide me with the UPC barcode info on the back of the book. I’ll even throw in some hot new promotional posters!

We will be premiering YI SOON SHIN: WARRIOR AND DEFENDER #2 at next year’s C2E2 Comic Book Convention in Chicago (4/16/2010-4/18/2010). Those of you who are outside the Chicagoland area will be able to purchase Issue #2 through Haven’s Catalogue, by emailing me directly, or by going on Amazon.com anytime after April 16th, 2010.

I am blown away by the riveting work our team is doing on the book -- and you will be, too!
