The Rescue of Ares 

"The Rescue of Ares" was a comic that I created in 2005 for my Classical Mythology course. What I do here is (re)tell a story that can be found in Book V of Homer's Iliad (5.395-91) and Apollodorus (1.7.4).

I had to use some snips and some snails, and even one puppy dog tail, and that was having some trouble staying, so I glued it together with some dissolved sugar, put in a bit of spice for flavour, and covered it in everything nice to create a workable facade. I'm glad you like it!
