I'm mainly a reader and collector of comics. My focus is Volume 1 of Wonder Woman. Right now I'm very close to having nearly half of the original run (it ended at #329). I didn't read or collect Volume 2 until about two years ago, and I'm slowly putting that together, and I'm also reading and collecting Volume 3. I'd like Wonder Woman to make it to issue# 330 and beyond, but apparently that's not going to happen. I also collect comics with significant Wonder Woman and Wonder Girl (Donna Troy) appearances.

Another series I absolutely love is The Sandman. At this point I've read a wide variety of comics, but there's always more to read and explore.

I am also very much interested in the history of comic book characters and comic companies.

I'm a fangirl and a dork, but I'm not ashamed of it. I've been around comics my whole life, and I was even read them as bedtime stories. I got to science fiction conventions, too, and I go to at least one a year. I also collect action figures and superhero dolls.

I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an Emphasis in Art History (BFAAH) from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Now I'm getting ready to start grad school this January for a Masters in Library Science.

I enjoy writing, but I don't write comics. Maybe I'll try it someday. I like to write short stories and poetry, but I don't do it much. I like to think of myself as a creative person.
