| Bulletin: | I've set up a gallery to share some of the best fan artworks depicting Dawnstar, now once again depicted in print (and with her wings!) as part of DC's Legion of Super-Heroes. Most come from a decade of my scouring many, often obscure, corners of the Net. Some works were created by talented fans on my request, or commissioned or purchased as original art. One thus far is my own work ... with more to come? We'll see. Some of these are convention sketches or commissions by professional comics artists, but are not part of their printed work. The first fifty works appeared during June and July in a Dawnstar appreciation thread at Newsarama, posted by me (1 to 45) and by others (46 to 50). Many others will be added, as I scan and organize ... so if you enjoy seeing this classic winged beauty from the DC multiverse, you might want to fave the gallery! |
