I'm working on expanding my own technique in Photoshop. I put up the illustration that I have been working on this week. I'm pretty happy with it. I've been working on putting together another piece with a different character this time.

I love working with underwater themes and I have this octopus girl in mind. I think that the style will end up being a little different than the first two submissions (less grunginess and texture maybe?)

I'm starting to work more on my own stuff since my last semester is wrapping up. It looks like I will have a job right after college in the feild that I studied for, which is odd considering that only one of my friends works in her respective degree's field.

I love the people I will be working for. The design work is not very edgy and it is hard to convince anyone to go with anything unconventional, but interning there has not been an intestinal scrape.

Besides working in the corporate world, I will be putting up my own website soon and hopefully doing some freelance illustration and design.

I started experimenting with my copics last evening. I did a small piece of gift art for Djeo's nephew in AZ. It is clear that I need to figure out process that works for me.

I also went to the Clockwork Elvis show at the Kingpin. If you have a chance to see them, I highly recommend it. It was a blast. Here are a few shots:

Hey, how's the Copic work coming along? What kind of paper do you prefer? I've been using markers for many years now...still my favorite medium. My current avatar is done with copic and chartpak, (very smelly solvent-based markers). I'll be posting some marker colored art soon.

Hey, I was too late on those figures, by the time I got around to wanting them they were sold out. Mainly the nurse w/ the big Hypo needle, and the blonde 4 armed girl w/ meat. I have a full page pinup feature in Antigravity Magazine starting this month. Did you get one yet?
