HangingEric
I'm a 28 year old writer who aspires to have more time in the day to write. I enjoy telling very ground level stories right now but I'm hoping to get back to some of my original ideas which are much more plot heavy. In the comic industry I have been limited as to this point in developing contacts, however the ones I have made are genuine people and like myself, they are striving towards making it in the business. Working with Josh Warner, I have been fortunate enough to be published in Incessant Yarns, an anthology book published by Hanging Chad Entertainment http://www.hangingchadentertainment.com which is a collection of up and coming artists and writers looking for their break. A story I wrote titled "Skipp" was selected to be in an anthology that never saw print. However Josh drew the piece and Matt Heern animated the story. It can be found at YouTube using the following link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChJglbXhO8sI'm currently writing many titles write now with the hope they will see light in Incessant Yarns, or possibly being self-published by myself. Some of the titles I'm working on currently are: Cross, Project 1067, Our Sun, The Platte, Paradise Inn, Jackson Goode, as well as a multi volume graphic novels Johnny Relationship. I hope to have more time to develop fully each of these projects. As it stands now, I need artists to collaborate with to produce these books. I have many scripts of the above titles finished already, just looking for the right style of artist. Anyway that's a little about me, if you have any questions, comments, I'm an easy guy to get a hold of, so feel free. Also recently I have become a contestant in Small Press Idol 07. We've made it past the first round and I can't wait to hear reaction from the second round. Please check out the contest at http://www.dimestoreproductions.com and vote for "The Platte" Check out my myspace page: http://www.mypace.com/hangingericEmail me: Click here to send email

Hey thanks for the kind words about Skipp, it's very much appreciated. I'm working on some new stuff that I think will blow that out of the water, to borrow an overused term. If I can get Josh to find some time to work on it with me, (just kidding, I know you're busy). Yeah getting together and golfing would be fun, especially since I can whip that Golf Pro card out, I typically don't have to pay for anything so that's a good part of being a golf pro. I'm actually going to try and make a con this year, hopefully the WW Chicago in August. Maybe I'll see you guys there. Keep up the good work, btw I thought the John Styrk Jr. tribute stuff was awesome, very heartfelt. |

Hi Eric! We read on your MySpace page that you're a golf pro too! We HAVE to play together someday! Maybe at a comic show city! A nickel a hole! And you have to spot me like three strokes per hole (maybe four) and Layne & Peri around 20 strokes per hole each, I'm guessin'! God bless & later! Tornado & Sisters Comics(tm)
