Wizardworld Philly 2007 went GREAT!!!

Hey everybody!

I was at Wizard World Philly this weekend sitting with Chuck Satterlee doing sketches. Saturday went VERY well, and I got lots of commissions! BIG thanks to the following ComicGeekSpeak forum members: Wopapino, Dave Ryan, Steve Bryant, Mike Norton, Chuck Satterlee, and many others for their great advice which helped me a LOT!!!

It was also AWSOME to see CGSers there!

I saw Indigo Fire, Wigster, Dave Ryan, and Andy Jewwet. Please forgive me if I missed anyone:( I'm tired...

It was just great to hang out with other artists and talk about what were doing, how we do it, what we love, the challenges...

I also got lots of positive feedback! My head is SWOLLEN!!!!

I also met a great artist named Megan E. Cittadino. Her art is AMAZING!!! You can check out her work at www.mecidart.com

On sunday I drove down with Chuck and his son Luke. Chuck got his fix of Chipped Beef on toast on the way down.

Luke (future Eisner Award Winner) charged $1 a sketch, and I complained he's taking away all my business!

I did 5 sketches on sunday, but was stupid once and got ripped off once.

I wasn't paying very good attention, and wasn't sure if one guy paid me. He wasn't either and he felt real bad. He even offered me another $20, but I told him no problem, I should have paid attention. It wasn't his fault at all and he was VERY nice! Later figured out I didn't get paid, but I know he didn't mean it. Another guy on the other hand didn't show up for TWO of his sketches.

Live and learn.

Needless to say, the Harley Quinn is still available! Captain Marvel already sold:)

And I made OUT after the show. I got 5 trades for $20 from a real cool vendor!

I tried to get pics of all my customers, but sometimes was too busy:(
