I'm a writer, although of short fiction not of comics. I collected comics (mostly super-hero stuff) up through high school and then economics forced me to stop for several years. I started back up 5-6 years ago, with my main interest being indie writers like Paul Chadwick, Chris Ware, James Kochalka, etc. This past fall I moved to the D.C. area to go to grad school for library science and I'm now working part-time as a Young Adult librarian. Working with teens has reinvigorated my love for a lot of superhero titles, especially with writers like Bendis and Brian K. Vaughan around. Eager to learn more.

Among other things in real life, I review graphic novels for magazines like Library Journal, School Library Journal, and Comics Journal. I have a blog, which is mostly a collection of reviews of books, graphic novels and trade collections of comics. Sometimes I also rant about school or working in a library as well.
