After a couple decades reading comics and wanting to create them, I've finally decided to get to work and make it happen. "Hero is ... um" is the result of that work.
A little background about me: I have a wonderfully talented and beautiful wife who puts up with my hobbies as a wannabe comics creator/voice actor/freelance magazine designer/comic collector. I'm doing my best to turn my two gifted young daughters into superhero fangirls. And professionally, I'm in public relations after spending 12 years as a newspaper journalist. I started as a reporter, was a sports editor, managing editor, lead copy editor and lead designer. I won numerous national and state awards for design and writing but ultimately found the profession to be soul draining. Since making the career change, I now have time to for a life with my family -- enough even to finally chase the dream of creating comics.
