Freelance writer Tony Smith lives in Boothwyn, Pennsylvania with his partner Jim Daley and their Superbeagle Molly and hasn’t had a real firm grasp on reality since he was six-years old. Even when he does get a grasp on reality, he tends to act like a six-year-old.

Tony contributed four stories and edited the inaugural issue of Queerbait, an LGBT comic book anthology featuring a diverse collection of stories by comics’ next generation of writers and artists. Issue #1 is available for sale at Indy Planet.com and Issue #2 will be published soon by Carabosse Comics.

He has also written stories for Prism Comics, Fan-Atic Press and Twisted Gate Entertainment. Currently, he also writes freelance articles and comic book creator interviews for Associated Content and PrintNPost.com and will be contributing stories to future issues of Queerbait.

RE: Addicted to MySpace?

Actually I'm not addicted to MySpace. It's like pulling teeth. But I added you anyway - because you folks are too damn cool.
I'm sure a new computer could probably handle all the crap MySpace automatically loads on the screen - but if that was the worst of it I'd be okay.

What really gets my goat is all the singles ads, True Girls, and porn sites pretending to be "your friend". Gah, I'll pass. But hey, I'm no idiot (well, not that big of an idiot) so I have a MySpace page, too. It's like just the thing to do.

I like ComicSpace so much better. Not as big, but it's pure comics (so far) and gets right to the heart. I'm happy to pass on all the Bands, Models, and wannabe bloggers.

Jaded and bitter? Me? No, I'm full of Hello Kittty love and happiness.

Actually Jimmy, I'd agree with everything you said and then some! I canceled my last MySpace account because I got sick of all the porn bots. But, it's just so big and popular that I figured the chance for market exposure is too good to pass up.

And, selling comics is all about exposing yourself!

Errr...wait...maybe I didn't phrase that right...

Check us out! Gaywebcomics.com is a portal for artists. The portal and the artist's pages income generator will be advertisers. There is no budget to pay artists to join the portal. It will have to be restricted to those 18 and over because there will surely be some naughty bits, but right now that is the only restriction on the slate. I am just excited about getting the site up to see what evolves. My aim is to have a broad cross-section of comics, art and humor. I am hopeful that the site will appeal to the whole GLBT community. Artists will even be able to accept advertising at their site on the gaywebcomics.com portal.

Thanks for the add. I checked out your website and the variety of art styles in your comic is cool. Traditional illustration, 3-D, cartoon, all very nice.
