Cadu Simões lives in a city called Osasco, which is located at the "farwest" of São Paulo city (Brazil), it's a History teacher, and by pure lack of what to do, it's also a comic writer. He was the real creator of the Spider-Man, but a person called Stan Lee stole his idea and took all the fame. Without being conformed with the situation, he decided to create a super-hero even better, the Cricket-Man, that it's already a success in lots of parts of the world, such as Albania, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Gambia, Liechtenstein and Tokelau Islands. He edited with the group Sócio LTDA the independent magazine Garagem Hermética and right now it's writing a new project called Nova Hélade, a comic book that mixes elements of cyberpunk sci-fi, fantasy and greek mitology, drawed by Angelo Ron. Cadu is still waiting to find someday the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything. Não conformado, resolveu criar um super-herói melhor ainda, o Homem-Grilo, que já é sucesso em diversos países do mundo, como Albânia, Bangladesh, Camboja, Gâmbia, Liechtenstein e Ilhas Tokelau. Editou junto com o coletivo Sócio LTDA a revista em quadrinhos Garagem Hermética e atualmente está escrevendo Nova Hélade, uma hq que mistura elementos de ficção científica cyberpunk, fantasia e mitologia grega, desenhada por Angelo Ron. Cadu ainda espera encontrar algum dia a questão fundamental sobre a vida, o universo e tudo mais. Ele também adora falar de si mesmo na terceira pessoa. http://4mundo.com/

Oi Fernanda! A mesa redonda foi aqui em São Paulo, mas o festival de quadrinhos independente aconteceu em Curitiba. Eu inclusive fui pra lá participar. Aliás, colou lá também alguns quadrinistas independentes de Florianópolis e de Joinville. Vc e o Lucas podiam ter ido também, foi bem legal. =)

Ps: Já estão me oferecendo uma boa grana pelo seu fanzine. Mas eu vou esperar valorizar um pouco mais e aí vender pelo e-bay. E depois utilizarei a grana pra bancar a impressão de uma edição do Homem-Grilo. =) |
