I am the writer of The World Power. It is a super-hero story with the traditional elements told in reverse. It was inspired by my living in Australia, Hong Kong, and Colorado as a child.

The heroes lost their memories of being ordinary people when they gained their magical powers. But their transformation was caught on tape, so the whole world knows their secret identites. The story is told mostly through the view points of their loved ones, who have been taken into protective custody. They try to make the heroes remember who they are before the World Power takes over the planet for its own good.

You can read blogs about my story on myspace.com. To access it, you can go to http://blog.myspace.com/howardboydshade. You can also have a few laughs at my pictures. My "artwork" is something to be seen to be believed. Believe me, I'd much rather have someone like Mike Grell doing it. I loved his work on the Legion, Warlord, and Green Arrow. In fact, he would be just perfect to illustrate The World Power.

Let me know if anyone is interested in drawing or publishing my tale of a dark utopia in the making. Thanks, Howard Boyd Shade

You're very welcome. Long Live The Legion were the last words spoken in my Legion script. The LSH said it right after I had written

T
H
END. I also put in the directions to have the letters appear in the L insignia of one of the flight rings. Howard
