A Bit About Me:I am Canadian. I live in Toronto, Ontario with my wife, two daughters and our dog. I launched my comic book writing career creating the smash hit, 3-issue mini series, After the Cape (Shadowline/Image Comics). The series continues with After the Cape II. Both are in trade paperbacks. I also contributed to a short story for the Grunts (Arcana Comics) trade paperback titled Iron Snake in the Desert. I'm currently working on other projects that hopefully you will be seeing soon. Before all of that, I wrote skits for variety shows and articles for a school newspaper, while attending university. Hi Howard. Great book, I picked up the last one about a month ago. I'm happy for your success. My wife and I are heading down to SDCC as well, hopefully we'll see you there. I signed up for the artist alley, but they said my application was put on hold, so we'll see if I get a table!?! Good luck, I cant wait for "After The Cape" part 2.

Hey Howard, just read After The Cape II #1 -- really good. Can't wait til next issue. The B&W art really suited it this time around. I was floored that my local comics shop barely had any copies. I didn't even see any on the shelf -- just the copy in my pull-list. I have connections to the LCS here, I'll have to get the word out! Not to mention I'll plug it on my site too.

The first mini series is a 3 issue mini that ended in May, but there's a trade of it hitting stores in Sept. 19th. You can pre-order it in the July Previews.
I'm currently working on a second series for AFTER THE CAPE, which again will be a 3-issue mini series. |
