AFTER THE CAPE #3 sells-out! Collected edition and sequel announced!

BERKELEY, CA -- 16 May, 2007 -- The third straight issue of Shadowline's dark superhero miniseries, AFTER THE CAPE has sold out. After selling out of the entire series, a collected edition of AFTER THE CAPE is being hurried to press to meet demand. It will hit stands this September.

The same week that Shadowline's AFTER THE CAPE marked it's third straight sell-out, the series has also gotten the attention of Entertainment Weekly.

"For Fans of the neorealism of Powers' Brian Michael Bendis," says Entertainment Weekly's Jeff Jensen.

In response to all of the buzz and acclaim, Shadowline is also announcing that a sequel is already in the works.

"We are hard at work honing the plot points on AFTER THE CAPE II and should have an announcement shortly." says Shadowline President Jim Valentino.

AFTER THE CAPE, tells the story of Ethan Falls, a man who had everything: family, fame, success, and super powers. The cape wasn't just a costume but a proud symbol of what he had become. Now a crippling addiction has taken it and everything else away from him, and he's spiraling towards a life of crime.

The collected edition of AFTER THE CAPE will be available in the July issue of Diamond Previews for products shipping in September.
