Hudson
Hey there! I Didn't put my age on my profile, so maybe you can guess it after reading my short bio! I started as a high school intern for Marvel Comics in the fall of 1983, until the winter of 1984. I returned to Marvel in 1988 as a Romita Raider (a No-Prize to the person who knows what that is!). As a Raider, I inked backgrounds for John Romita Sr., Al Milgrom, Bob Layton and Stan Drake among others. I started working for Jim Shooter and Valiant Comics in 1990 and broke my ankle at the San Diego Con( Were you there?). I worked on the Nintendo stuff and left at the end of 1990. I went back to freelancing and did a lot of inking for Marvel. I learned a lot and made a lot of friends! I left NYC for LA and some work in Animation (Dragon Tales anyone?). With the support of The Bucce and Mad Science Media, I started doing more penciling and published my book Forever Amber in 1999. I did some stories for the anthology Comiculture Magazine in 2004 and turned one of the stories into a Graphic Novel. A Western called GunpowderGirl and The Outlaw Squaw! If you ever make it to Broadway anytime soon, Check out JERSEY BOYS. I did the storyboards for that show! I am doing a lot of Advertising Storyboards these days and working on more Western stories. If you are a fan of Kolchak, The Night stalker, check out my 3 issue limited series published by MOONSTONE BOOKS. Here is a an update for all my friends! The Star Trek Manga I did for Tokyopop was a great success with six weeks worth of signings behind it. I will continue to promote it everywhere I go and you will see more of my stuff from Tokyopop soon. My Blog- http://www.comiculture.comMy Book- http://www.comicrazy.com/gold/

Small world. We've met at a few cons and I knew your were a friend of the Bucce. I di d not know we had crossed paths at Moonstone. I colored the Kolchak cover that Joe Corroney pencilled for one of your issues. It's like six degrees of comic makin' or something.
Good to see you on Comic Space. I'll keep an out out for your next western yarn. 1 Reply [ Latest posted on April 28th, 2007 9:35 PM ]

That's a good thing. You'd look a little silly with a spacesuit and Birkenstocks. ;) |
