I've been doing Hutch Owen in strip form for years, and for the last six months, in two papers in Boston and NY and on the web at http://www.hutchowen.com.

The Dennis character is all throughout both book collections, especially the first one. And he'll hopefully be making his first appearance in the newspaper strip in the next week.

Even though the strip went through fazes that I didn't quite understand(it was probably funnier when all this stuff was current), it is an over all enjoyable strip. The fact that you don't go for the formulaic "3 panel laff" every time is a big plus. I really enjoyed the Congressman Cuff character. "Let's get this country started" is a great line. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that you have a new fan. I'll be watching for more Hutch in the future.

Hey Tom, I am somewhat familiar with Hutch and some of your other work, but I haven't seen it around too much. Except last night while reading the 2006 best comics anthology that had one of your stories in it. I wasn't familiar with the Dennis character, but I enjoyed the story alot. The part where he pukes on the janitor's corpse gave me a serious cringe. I loved it. I am thinking about seeking out some more Hutch Owen. Just thought I'd give you some kudos. Keep 'em coming.
