Hey everyone, I am back in the saddle and publishing again. I have a new book coming out via my own company Fat Cat Funnies, and we are getting down to the nitty gritty. I need help with finishing up the book, creating promotional material and stuff for the website. I am all alone in the editing and art and writing, but I have an army helping with the rest and I need more help. I am willing to pay cash for quality work on a commission basis, but unlike other publishers I would want the original, and yes I pay for them too. I also want to call upon the services of novice artists who want to simply be published and have a book to show people and a line on your resume. 'In the Can' begins where the strips on the site start off, but more bad jokes, more drama, and graphic novel-ey goodness ensues. It stands at 56 pages right now and hopefully will grow even more... I started off doing little newspaper strips, but it just grew and grew and I fell in love with the characters. Any help is appreciated, anything from a pencil sketch on a napkin to an oil painting (which is what the cover is:)) would be greatly appreciated. Even a few kind words would be nice because I have had a rough go of it lately and this is kind of holding me together.
