Header: Zing Comics Info #6 - Final Edition
Bulletin: Ah yes, here we are, we have reached the final part of our long journey down the road of Zing Comics #1. It's been fun reliving all of these stories. A lot of them, I haven't actually read since they were written, so it was a bit nostaligic to revisit them.

Mushy stuff aside, let's talk about the final story in our anthology: Responsibility.

As the title may suggest, this is a story about trying to come to grips with your place in life and doing whatever it is you need to be doing, regardless of whether or not you want to.

Okay, perhaps the title doesn't suggest that. But, that's what it's about.

It stars a character that was actually introduced in a Shortbox story. It's called First Day. Feel free to read it, I'll wait.

...

Anyway, his name is Expositioner. As I said when I posted that story way back when, he was actually the first character I created for Ideal Comics. Of course, this was before we decided to create one big universe and we were still trying to break into the business with new properties.

I created him for a story called October Leaves, which we're actually planning on releasing next. In the Fall or Spring or something.

I won't go into details about the story, because it will ruin it. But, I can tell you that Responsibility takes place long after First Day and about six months to a year after October Leaves.

Now that the background is out of the way, let's talk about Responsibility. It tells the story of Expositioner and how, over the course of one crazy night, he starts to understand why he does what he does. Fight crime, that is.

I always try to write stories with specific themes in mind. For this story, the theme is hope. Expositioner has begun questioning if he's actually making a difference. Unfortunately, he doesn't have much in the way of support to talk to. However, he does have one friend and it's this friend that ultimately leads Expositioner to his decision.

That's it. I don't really think there's anything else ot say about it at this time.

So, thank you very much for entertaining these little blurbs over the past few weeks. I hope you've enjoyed them as much as I have.
