My name is Stef. I am a dork. I'm also a film student, aspiring director, and a comics fangirl, which is entirely the fault of Superman Returns. I also love movies as well as writing, so visuals = made of awesome?

Favorite comics that I'm reading and/or collecting include 52, Action Comics, All-Star Superman, Angel, Army Of Darkness, The Authority, Batman, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Detective Comics, JLA, JLA Classified, Justice, Marvel Zombies vs. Army Of Darkness, Outsiders, Robin, Superboy, Superman, Superman Confidential, Superman/Batman, Supernatural: Origins, Teen Titans, Trials Of Shazam!, Young Justice.

Favorite characters are Superman and Batman (well, can't pick between either, though Batman edges out a bit due to growing up with the animated series), as well as Superboy, Robin, and Impulse, because they are the trio of coolness and Bart, oh how I miss you so. I also like Lois Lane when she's written well, despite my slash tendencies (why yes, I see many cry sacrilege). Nightwing, Arsenal, Flash (Wally West), Wonder Woman and Wonder Girl... oh, I've lost count.

Favorite movies (comic or fandom-wise) include Superman Returns, Batman Begins, Army Of Darkness, American Psycho, Edward Scissorhands, The Evil Dead I & II, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Indiana Jones trilogy, Legend, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Monty Python films, Once Upon A Time In Mexico, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Sleepy Hollow, Star Wars trilogy, Superman the Movie, V For Vendetta, X-Men I & II. When it comes to TV shows, I still miss Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, though now I have Heroes and Supernatural to obsess over.

Grant Morrison, Jeph Loeb, Joe Kelly, Geoff Johns, Kurt Busiek, and Paul Dini make me happy story-wise and Renato Guedes, Pete Woods, Tim Sale, George Perez, Stuart Immonen, Frank Quitely, Matthew Clark, Tom Grummett, Ed McGuinness, Barry Kitson, Pasqual Ferry, and Lee Bermejo do art-wise. I check out my daily dose of crack via scans_daily and the many examples of subtext throughout the books, as well as Elseworlds (Female ninja Batman!) and Pre-Crisis books (super-ventriloquism!). Or just Superman/Batman. Jeph Loeb, you so funny.
