Another update to my TRANSLUCENT gallery

I've added a group shot to my gallery. While I'd love for you to go there and check it out, it's just as easy to show you here! So, without further ado (hint: it's clickable, too!):

The excitement is mounting over at Small Press Idol! The final weekend of voting has arrived for Round 3, and the mad scramble for votes is on. If you're like me, you're seeing your Bulletin inbox literally bulge with creators' campaigning for your votes.

And, let's be honest: I'd love to be in the top 6, too. But I'm a sole creator competing against teams that have multiple networks of families, friends and coworkers to draw upon. Even with that handicap, I've managed to hold a spot somewhere in the top 7 for the last few days. Quite a respectable showing!

But the reality of Round 3 has sunk in. At this stage, it's not really a comic book contest anymore. It's more of a popularity contest. The creators with the most computer-literate, forum-savvy friends will win, plain and simple. And y'know what? I'm cool with that. Translucent will eventually be published in Dimestore Production's Mysterious Visions anthology, and I'm darned proud of achieving that honor.

Which isn't to say that I'm adverse to getting more votes. If you like what you see here and in my gallery, please pop on over to Small Press Idol by clicking on the banner:

In the interest of fairness, here's a list of all the participants in Round 3. So, if you don't like Translucent, maybe you'll find something else that tickles your fancy, like Windy City or Philadelphia: The Game or Pierced or Danger Ace. If so, give it--or them--your vote! Send a message to the creators and publisher about the comics YOU want to read. ...I have!
