Wouldn't you know it? I'm on vacation, and today's the day that Translucent #0 goes on pre-sale at Dimestore Productions' Small Press Idol! That's right: Round 4 of the contest has begun, the hype machines are in full gear, and I've only now gotten to a computer! Yikes!!

Of course, I'd love to hype my work all to pieces, but it speaks for itself. Check out my TRANSLUCENT gallery; you won't be disappointed. And the work I've continued to produce just gets better. Wait'll you see what happens!

What I want to stress in this particular note is that, of all the projects in the top 6, Translucent is the only comic produced by a one-man operation. That's right: Writing, pencilling, inking, gray-scaling/coloring, and lettering--the whole shebang--all on my shoulders. Talk about a learning experience and a renewed appreciation for the effort involved in producing a comic!

That means that, unlike the other contest projects that have multiple networks to tap into for support, I have ... well ... YOU! So, pop over to Dimestore Productions, buy a copy of Translucent #0, and help out the independent-est underdog! Every purchase counts as a vote.
