ya I did. It was a good show. Keith said it felt like San Diego had which is a good thing. It was busy all three days. Lots of traffic means more eyes. The party was the best part. I think everyone had a good time. I know that Mark Torres did some filming so we can look forward to that. It was so popular this year that we have to get a bigger venue next year as people had to leave because it was so packed. I know we completely yapped out the twins full capacity and then some. They posted the dates for next year in February... do you think you'll be able to make it? |

So, my son got me hooked on watching Heroes on NBC, and I was wondering...
How did you ever get them to name their world-ending virus after you?

Hey there Shawnti! Dropped in to thank you for getting me to join up. Best thing about Small Press Idol for me was getting to meet you. I see you have no lack of friends. But you can add me in as one more. Keep that artwork coming!

Thanks, you know I think that contest meant more for some of us getting to know eachother than anything else. I think more good work will come of our crossing, mister, but that is simply stating the obvious. Now all I guess that's left is to show the world what we can do! You deserve to be here, I just gave you the go go juice! |

No worries! I'm glad you included me! Your character is so adorable and I rarely get the chance to work on something like that. It was liberating! Let me know when the book is out and where I can get it as I know both Matt and I would love to get our hands on a copy! Thank you once more! |

Sorry things didn't go more smoothly. I had very high hopes and admit some things came up a little short, but I think it was positive for the guild on many levels. I know I enjoyed myself. It was great to meet you as well and hope for only good things in the future. |

I liked the excerpts you've posted here of Meth. Very good, very interesting stuff. Only got a chance to pop over to your web site, but I'll check that out later as well. 1 Reply [ Latest posted on February 22nd, 2007 7:21 AM ]

Thanks man! The comic I have up there is old, I'll warn you of that now. I'm actually re-working it for small press idol. I entered that contest and I really want the prize though I suspect I won't win. If you get the chance, pop over there and check out my submission. It is at least my newer material, imperfections and all. I have the link for Dimestore on my page. Meth is published through both them and through CAG. I will have more of that story out soon also. I'm so glad you like it and keep in touch! |

Still too much going on for much sanity. I'm entering Small Press Idol and I hope to have some success. This doing everything myself crap is starting to seriously bite me in the butt. I need to make money in comics so I can not work 50 some hours a week at the drooler job plus the rest of my time on making books. I feel I've learned a lot but there is always more. Now my lack of school is getting in the way as I seem to be judged on different standards the moment that fact is discovered... What's the rule out there, disuade those without the paper? I'm not sure. All and all, I'm not giving! If I have to use my blood for ink I'm gonna get the evil out... so if anybody knows a little someone who has a discerning taste in Vampire stories, hook a girl up...I'm hungy! |

Hello everybody! There's so much going on my head is spinning. I'm late on the Happy Holidays, but I hope yours went well. I've been slaving away on Meth and have the next installment nearly complete. You will be able to find that in Psychosis! I've been collaborating with the writer Joel Townsend, and am bringing the first part of 36 Rotten Fists, well its comic form as it is a short film, up to finished ink. I think that it has to be the most intensive project as far as inking goes because it's three colors: black, brown, and red, as well as I decided to make use of a quill instead of my usual Micron cop out. The blood loks SSSSSOOOOOOO good! Lastly, I have started on the fourth book of Am I Immortal which is called, The Run Away. I got stuck about half way through The Goth King, and then had a sudden glint of inspiration leading to 90 pages written in 4 days. I hope The Run Away will come a little more fluidly so I can bulldoze through it quickly and not become stuck like I did in The Goth King. If wishes were fishes, right. Well, that's all I got for now... |

Thanks for the add, Shawnti - nothing too Gothic at my website yet but do bookmark us - we have a vampire story starting in January which (we think!) is pretty unique! 1 Reply [ Latest posted on December 23rd, 2006 10:30 AM ]

Sure! I love checking out new stuff. I have so much going on right now its made me coocoo! More Meth and now 36 Rotten Fists. I feel bad because Cain has taken to lurking in the background...that won't last long. Those Vamps know how to get attention in the end (though in hind sight he isn't really a vamp at all). |

no worries! This site is a little crazy. I'm not really sure what to do with it yet as I'm used to a lot more versatility. It's great to talk to people, and there are a ridiculous amount of them here, but still, what proof can I offer to anybody that I am what I am, and can do what I say I can do. The world is so faithless I don't believe anyone will take notice when I express what I want here. |
