heehee, I've actually got another 15 pages plotted out, right now I have visitors so I haven't been able to work on it, and I'm in the middle of a desperate search for work, but I promise to continue working on it, the last 15 pages I did in a week so as soon as I have time to work on it it should go pretty fast, don't worry, the story will continue!

there you have it!

I just checked out your website! Your animations are fantastic! Your wichman concepts are actually pretty similar to plank-of-wood boy's next adventure (starting in july), which features a group of fairytale supervillains.

can't wait to see what happens next in beach city! Love your stuff!
As for what happens next with Plank-of-Wood Boy... let's just say the years have not been kind to Amelia Earheart's mind...

you know, I've been thinking about it, and I think I might try to squeeze in time for one inbetween my other projects soon. I'm not very good with staying focused on comics, so I'm not sure if I should attempt to do full "episode" stories starting from the very beginning, or just keep it to quick little shorts, or which medium to do them in, but once I decide I will probably start on them. They will be low priority though, but hopefully I'll be posting some soonish.
thanks so much for your encouragement!

oh, but there's a problem... yeah, I suck at backgrounds, and the story is pretty environment heavy! This is why I am an animator...

I just posted 15 pages.... hope you enjoy them :)

WOW, you do 3D comics? I've never even heard of that, that's so cool!
I never realized I was that good at creating atmospheres, thanks for the heads up, haha.
My biggest online gallery is at inneryoung.deviantart.com, so there's a lot more there to check out. Please don't beg me, i'm just an amateur.

Thanks so much for the add!! Oh and I must say, your stuff are AWESOME!! (it sound sound as if I sang the word 'awesome' to add extra dramatics) .... and I'm a had sell!!! (well I've been told all it takes to please me is a banana and a pencil) ... oh and I'm loving the "Beach City", it's like "splash" but not, and the pencils for the other two storys are breath taking (I wet myself with each new page) ... anyway welcome to My "Monkey Legion" ... we are few, but the army is growing ...... "One moneky, one mind, one goal! .... 300 RULES!!!" .... sorry these darn brain farts

heh heh heh
thanks for the compliments, I love Splash, but they didn't have to battle a giant octopus. I'm a little disturbed that you wet yourself with each new page, but I'm glad they forced a response on ya! haha.
ah, I am now part of a monkey legion, feels great

Re: Your request for feedback.

Your "Beach City Concepts" gallery is interesting. I'm not a fan of that particular cartooning style, but I find the theme interesting. I've been kicking around my own "sea god" type stories, so it's .Your color choices are interesting, though.

"Dear Mindy" has some good, readable art. I like the mood you create. My one quibble with the story as a whole is the lettering. Because you have the space, I'd choose a larger font size. Otherwise, I'd look for a font without the wild flourishes that give letters an uncommon look. Of course, seeing a comic page electronically isn't always optimal. Personally, I've had to re-letter some comic pages to bridge the legibility gap.

I found "End of the Month" a little hard to follow. The action wasn't clear through the middle pages, so the punchline lost its ... uh ... punch.

Your "Whichman" gallery is my favorite. I like the diversity of images. Though the cartoonier pieces don't jazz me, the moodier work does. I like the watercolor piece especially. I can also see how the concept ties together some of the ideas you've fleshed out in your other galleries. I look forward to this concept coming together.

Hope this feedback helps! If you were looking for something else, let me know.

Good luck!

thanks for all the feedback!
Before Beach City I was working on another sea god story that was more of a horror tragedy... couldn't figure out where to go with it once I had written it, and wound up doing Beach City instead.
If I ever get around to fixing up I'll definitely be playing around with the text more. I wanted a "written" look since it's a letter, and was considering writing everything out myself and using that, but I thought that would be even harder to read. I've never really done much with text before, so I don't really understand the art of it quite yet.
End of the Month started off as an idea for an animation that I didn't think I would have time to complete but needed to get the idea down anyway. I was thinking of doing the animation again now that I have the time and need for animating, and was considering doing it, but I'm not sure if the action is going to become more clear or not. So it's something I gotta think long and hard about I guess.
I'm guessing that you're not a big "cartoony" style fan in general? Thanks for all the comments, I really appreciate it!
