Sunday Nov 2nd is MINICON 08 Comics, Creators, Action Figures OH MY!!

Hello all you people with ISSUES!

We are a few short days away from minICON 08 on November 2!!

MinICON is at the Northwoods Room at Stoney Creek Inn and it is easy to find right off I-80 and 86th St in Johnston. When you get done you can swing over to Wynnsong for a movie.......PLEASE not High School Musical 3!

Our guest list has grown since the last update too. We have the creative crew of the new Image book Golly with Phil Hester/writer, Brook Turner/artist, & Andy Brase/cover. We also have fan favorites Chris Rich McKelvey & Chad Spilker and the guys from Sellout Comics who have become loyal ICBC con/show veterans. If you liked last years stuff creatures from Satanimals you're in luck because Erin Bolman is scheduled to be there along with artist/sculptor D. Ryan Allen. From Antidote Comics we have artist Ant Lucia who has come up with his own line of pin-ups and calendars called Spookshow Pinups. Rounding out the list is two last minute creators......from Lincoln, Nebraska Scott Stewart and artist Loren Meyer who has a strip on DC's web comic ZUDA.

Our biggest addition fits right in with the release of the new Clone Wars cartoon. Darryl Woods is an official cariacature artist for Lucas Films. He can draw cartoon versions of your favorite Star Wars character or even better do a sketch of you as your favorite from the Star Wars movies or show. With each paid sketch Darryl will give you a free color poster of Boba Fett or Darth Maul!

Speaking of Star Wars it is confirmed we should have a few Troopers from the 501st late morning - early afternoon.

Our last group of guests need no introduction since they have been at our ICON the last 3 years.....3XW. We believe that cruiserweight champion Jimmy Rockwell and Delicious Devin Carter will be at the show.

With so little time before the minICON it is important that you help us out by spreading the word. It is only $2 to get in and each paid person gets a free ticket in the door prize giveaway!

KIDS 9 & UNDER ARE FREE WITH PAID ADULT!
