Ooh, that's definitely something to look forward to! Admittedly, the original (DC-published) Fallen Angel series left me a bit cold -- I had a difficult time caring about the characters and their motivations, so I dropped it after the first collection.

But what really I loved most about it was the depiction of Bete Noire, as a city with its own unique history, achitecture, and cultural quirks. And obvy, that plays right into your strengths. I can't wait to see the final results.

thanks for the comment dude... my main concern about that comic was not letting it look cheesy or fake.. but since it had some real life inspiration I guess I nailed it right :)

I mostly sell them during rock gigs and events (comic and sci-fi conventions, atbp.)

I consigned stuff at Chunky Far Flung, the toy store/gallery at Shoe Expo in Cubao, but my stock sold out recently, and they are closing down for good, this week. I may sell them ulit at Datelines Bookstore, which is also part of the cluster of hip, 'artsy' businesses that have settled in Shoe Expo, during the last few years (although many are leaving na this month, due to a rise in the cost of rent).

Dati, I gave away mini-comics for Free Comic Book Day, at CCHQ in Katipunan (wala na rin!) and Comic Quest in Mega Mall.

Most of my work are short strips that appear in photocopied anthology collections, self-published by me and my girlfriend, Claire. So far, we have released two titles: Monochrome Fiesta in 2004, and Barangay Sesame (a parody of Sesame Street and local 'trapo' politics) in 2005.
