Dublin's 24 hour comics day 2008 event will take a place on October 18th/19th 2008 at the Central Hotel in Dublin. The event will start at noon on the saturday and finish at noon on the sunday. More info to follow shortly meanwhile check out the reports from last years event below to see what to expect.

What is 24 Hour Comics Day?
It's an international celebration of comics creation. Cartoonists all over take the challenge of trying to create a 24 page comic story in 24 straight hours. Many gather at special events in comic book shops, schools, and other locations.

Giggidy booya! Looking forward to this, even though this time round I'll be making mental efforts to up my page rate (probably meaning yet more splash pages) since I can't get there before about 10...

Yay, there's more comics up! I had seen bits of Murra's comic on the day but not the final version of the pages. Would love to see Stephen's work as well, I remember glancing enviously at his pages from time to time, then getting frustrated at the fantasticness of his artwork in comparison to mine...
