my favourite guitarist, the late Stuart Adamson. he founded the Skids, the first Celtic-punk band, and very heavily influenced the Edge, I daresay there would be no U2 if there hadn't been the Skids. later Stuart formed Big Country, and Americans thought he was ripping off U2.
I would trade 95% of todays music industry to have Stuart back. He also figured out how to make a guitar sound like a bagpipe!
