I'm a radiology technologist and part-time writer.

I'm currently putting the finishing touches on an essay entitled "Does God Limp?" for BenBella Publishing's Smartpop line which will appear in an anthology about HOUSE, MD sometime in 2007.

I'm also at work on my first novel as well as looking at some comic book work. Now that my lovely wife has graduated nursing school I can spend more time writing...hopefully.

My short fiction has shown up in MOTA 2003: Courage and the online zine Ideomancer. I was a newspaper stringer and writer for a few years as well as providing review columns to zines such as Variants from Variant Press. I graduated from the Clarion Writers Workshop in the year 2000, the same year I got my now useless BA in English degree from Michigan State University.

I had the good luck to marry someone who is much smarter than me and can somehow tolerate living with a sarcastic and cynical nerd with delusions of being a writer someday. Thankfully she will soon have her nursing degree and I will be able to retire early and spend my days drunk in a hammock.
