Hi, Jamie!

I'm not sure if you remember, but I did two seperate e-mail interviews with you several years ago for my old zines (one related to "Cut My Hair", and the other to your then-job as Ed-in-Chief at Oni -- yes, it was that long ago.)

Anyway, I'll spare you the usual post-collegiate loss-of-direction narrative that side-tracked me from my zine stuff. But suffice it to say that I was never able to run your interviews, which is a shame, because your replies were quite insightful.

If I ever decide to put out a dedicated "b-sides and rarities"-type collection of my unused zine work, rest assured that one of the interviews will be included, for posterity's sake. (I'm not just being self-aggrandizing here -- humility aside, my girlfriend and I have a modest reputation as local "zine-stars", for better or worse.)

I got the first two volumes on some sort of deal. It's not the sort of thing I usually go for but I got to the end of the first volume and started reading the second straight away and suddenly realised that I actually quite liked it. I think I was more surprised when I saw your name in the front though, and then like a week later I was reading this really old Dark Horse presents issue and there was a letter from you in it, I think you said you were at college at the time?
