jamwah
Jamwah is the slightly ridiculous pseudonym for Jamie Roberts, here talking in the third person. I'll stop that now. I've worked on a digital vector style for some time now, and the majority of the output has been 'bean men', as christened by many fellow artists. These are in my gallery entitled, appropriately enough, 'Bean Men'. Off the back of this, I was picked to illustrate the sequential story 'Doxy Proxy' in Image's Popgun Anthology. Originally slated for Volume 1, the sheer length of the story meant Volume 2 was a better fit. So look for it in summer. Lots of goodness coming in 2008, which I'm sure I'll announce in due course. Just you see if I don't.

Bean Men
This is my style. There are many like it but this one is mine.

Sketch cards
I started, and I fully intend to keep doing it. Traditional media on teeny pieces o' card.

So, yeah, I've been toying with the idea of getting rid of Nick Dismas now, or possibly delegating just the really harsh, twisted horror stuff to him. Thoughts? 1 Reply [ Latest posted on January 20th, 2008 6:15 PM ]

Thoughts? Well, I think I'm about three months behind on replying, for one. Seriously, it all depends on how much name recognition you're willing to let go. That said, if you really want to do it, now's the time before you 'blow up', as I believe the cooler element would say. |

How's it going? That may be the best Ra's al Ghul ever. 1 Reply [ Latest posted on March 30th, 2007 12:33 PM ]

Very kind of you. In all honesty, he never appealed to me as a character, but I wanted to do more DC stuff to balance my Marvel-heavy tendencies. I'm still not a fan, but whatever.
I might do a Killer Croc, however. |

When did I sneak in? What about you?
I'm like a ninja, what with all the sneaking. You probably can't even read this comment, I'm so sneaky. 1 Reply [ Latest posted on February 18th, 2007 11:31 AM ]

Jaime!
Good to see you on here too, man. I still want that Night Star/MegaStar pin-up done in your inimitable style one of these days. Alas, the holidays turn me into a broke, broken and miserable man. But... one day! 1 Reply [ Latest posted on December 21st, 2006 10:45 PM ]

Hey thanks Quon... I mean Jamie ( ;D ) for the add, I appreciate it every bit. It really is nice to see you here, thanks for the kind words as well. I saw your stuff on Newsarama a little while back, which is just a spectacular feat in itself as far as I'm concerned. |
