Thief: The Adventures of John Argent is an eclectic mix of history, mythology, and crime with a little humor mied in. It takes place during the reign of Charlemagne at the beginning of the Ninth Century. John, as the title states, is a thief by trade, has a knack of letting his greed get him into trouble, and his wits, out of it. There are eleven issues in Volume One, and thus far, two issues of Volume Two, which takes place before the first volume. Copies of every issue are available, including two issues of the Thief Gallery which features full page illustrations.
